SERVICES
We provide complete design services, starting with reviewing the initial project to determine code requirements, system type & equipment needed, and expected design fees. This includes a device location floorplan, equipment list, and contract proposal, for your bid purposes. When approved, our complete system design plans will be ready for submittal to the Authority Having Jusrisdiction for your fire alarm permit. We coordintae the design and make adjustments acoording to the AHJ review comments. We are available throughout the entire project installation for questions and design adjustments, and provide Record Drawings at project completion. We are your one source throughout the entire project.
COORDINATION AND PRE-BID ASSISTANCE
Review published bid documents and specifications or field notes, and provide a preliminary system device layout and bill of material for our clients to accurately bid a project.
RECORD DOCUMENTS
System record documentation from the original design and installer’s field notes. Required by NFPA and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) at project completion. “Fire Alarm Documents” metal, locking enclosures available, for installation adjacent to fire alarm control panel.
SYSTEM DESIGN
Full drawing set and manufacturer data sheets, for submittal to Engineer and Authority Having Jusrisdiction (AHJ). Drawing set meets National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and International Fire Code (IFC) requirements, and includes floorplans with initiating and notification devices with addresses, circuiting, riser diagrams, battery and voltage drop calculations, device legend, wire legend, device lists. General installation notes, wiring details, installation details, and additional information are all included in the drawing package. Voice systems include amplifier, speaker, and calculation information. The system Cover Page includes Project Narrative, Scope, Code required information and titleblock information.
CAD SERVICES
CAD services available, including creating architectural based drawings for building floorplans. Site verification, PDF and sketch conversion, “As-built” drawings.
NICET & PE STAMP
All design drawings are prepared by NICET level IV certified designers, including name and signature. Additional Professional Engineer’s PE review and stamp are available if required by jurisdiction, for an additional fee.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Remote, or on-site project management services available, to coordinate project with all team members, contractors, owners, and building officials. System inspection and commissioning services available. Pricing depends on services, schedule, and location of project.
